      LSU Science Café: Our Environmental Health

      Our Environmental Health Dr. Stephania Cormier Airborne pollutants such as particulate matter and environmentally-persistent free radicals, or EPFRs, are released into the air from traffic, industry, as well as e-cigarette vapor. LSU Superfund Research Center Director Stephania Cormier will present her research on how exposure to these pollutants can lead to a whole host of health problems, including heart and lung disease, pneumonia, and obesity. Doors open at 5 p.m. for networking and light refreshments, and the talk will start at 6 p.m. Remember, people of all ages are welcome, so please spread the word and join us for a fun and informative night!
