      Presentation & book signing - Energy Kingdoms: Oil and Political Survival in the Persian Gulf

      On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Center for Energy Studies will host Jim Krane, Ph.D., Wallace S. Wilson Fellow for Energy Studies, Baker Institute for Public Policy, Rice University, for a presentation on his book Energy Kingdoms: Oil and Political Survival in the Persian Gulf. In the book, Krane describes the roles oil has played in the domestic economies and internal politics of the Persian Gulf states, and the challenges those nations face as they move to diversify their economies. The book will be for sale at the event.
